Abstract
In this short paper, we show that any Kahler-Ricci soliton on a complex manifold which admits a holomorphic isometric embedding into a Hartogs domain over an irreducible bounded symmetric domain equipped with the Bergman metric must be a Kahler-Einstein metric.
