As such, I function as department webmaster and photographer, make recommendations regarding the department's needs for technology for education and research, and act as liaison with the IT and CAS computing staff.

I've been programming for years and have developed automation software for three different electronic journals. My favorite language is perl. The journals are typeset via the TeX software system.

I use Maple for teaching and enjoy teaching in a computer classroom.
