Title: Rank One Group Actions and Multiple Mixing

We study the problem of under what conditions mixing implies multiple mixing. We generalise a result of Rhyzikov's to show that for certain rank one mixing group actions, where the group G is abelian, amenable and has an element of infinite order, mixing does imply multiple mixing. Specialising to the group G={\bf Z}, we have a result for funny rank one actions. This is joint work with Andres del Junco.
